I tested this helmet in the large size for my 22” head size. Its fit is snug and it squeezes my cheeks a bit. However, when I took its cheek pad out then it feels me very comfortable. It gave me a better look than my expectation. During the trial, I feel this helmet secure and stable during jumping on the rough trail. If you are an average BMX rider and want standard full-face protection, then this helmet is the best option for price point.
When it came to visibility then this trail helmet did not disappoint me. it offered a wide field of view. Moreover, its vent openings are placed directly above my ears which helped me to hear other people very clearly. This is not a MIPS helmet. MIPS version of this helmet is also available for rotational impact protection but you have to pay more for it. However, after examination, we found this helmet ventilation system works better than Bell sanction but it is relatively heavy.

Before testing this helmet seems to have limited ventilation because it has only 13 vent openings. However, during the test, I feel good airflow around my head. When I saw this helmet to one of my friends I became a fan of it. For the price, this helmet has great built quality. After testing I have impressed by its ventilation system. This lightweight helmet sat comfortably on my head. There is no undue movement after tightening its dial knob. Moreover, I found an easy time adjusting to its visor position due to the smooth hinges. Last thing that makes me a big fan of this helmet is its two shell sizes with extra pads lining in accessories. Most budget friendly helmets come with one shell size that uses a greater or small amount of padding to produce different sizes.
Best quality for the price
During the market visit, I saw many cheaper helmets that look similar to this helmet but cost less money. After inspection and testing, I found that they are skimp on material and felt uncomfortable and itchy on the head. Their visors were also very flimsy. However, I find a very solid balance between the quality and prices of this wildHorn Corvair helmet. I did not find any imperfection in designing this trail helmet. I tested this helmet in large according to my head size. I felt it fully tight on my cheeks but not to an uncomfortable level. Bell designed this helmet a little smaller than usual. During the test, this helmet remains very stable on my head while jumping. There is also a lot of room between the mouth and chin guard front which makes me easy to breathe. However, I felt it was relatively hotter than other full-face helmets. Moreover, its inner soft foam padding is not removable. The user has to wash the whole helmet for pad washing. No part of this helmet gets damaged by washing.
